Character pops!
Character pops are much more difficult to make than the regular sprinkle pop, but the cuteness keeps me addicted. I made these cute lady bug pops for a little girl's birthday party. The pirate pops were for sweet Brody's 3rd b-day. I'm pretty sure the pirate pops are taking over as my favorite pop ever! Enjoy the pics.

Mr. Potato head pops!
Last week I made Mr. Potato head cake pops for a "Toy Story" halloween party. I was excited to make something new, but the real kickers was... shipping them to Missouri. Yes, these pops were shipped from North Carolina to Missouri. I was super nervous about shipping these pops, but they ended up arriving only short a few ears! They are some of the cutest cake pops I have ever made. Happy Halloween, enjoy the pics.

I had the privileged of making the favors for a beautiful fall wedding on October the 8th. The favors were arranged in groups of 3 cake pops; the flavors were chocolate, red velvet, and carrot cake. Each group was tagged with a cute rectangular tag that read "Thanks for sharing our sweet day A&A October 8th, 2011." Enjoy the pictures! Congrats to Alyssa and Tony.

Busy Bee!
This week was the biggest week in production for Peace, Love, and Cake pops. I was up to my ears in cake pops and loving every minute of it. My husband helped me tremendously. I'm blessed in my little at home business and want to take time to think all my amazing customers! In the hustle and bustle of cake pop making, I haven't had time to take pictures of my work. SAD! I made my first batch of pigs this week and they were so cute. I took a pic with my cell phone that I will post. Coming soon: Cake pops from a super cute "Under the Sea" birthday party, and a gorgeous fall themed wedding. Thanks for reading my blog and ordering cake pops!!!

Happy Birthday to Kaitryn!
Kaitryn put the sprinkles on this one...it was her special birthday pop! |
Peace, Love & Cake Pops went mobile to Myrtle Beach and made red velvet pops for my sweet 8 year old niece. We spend a week at the beach with my husband's family every year. This year my niece's birthday fell on a day during our vacation. She requested red velvet cake pops with colorful sprinkles! I decided we should make them together. It was a blast! Kaitryn and her 12 year old sister Madison were a huge help! I told them they needed to work for me on a regular basis :). Here are some pictures! Happy Birthday to a very special 8 year old girl. XO

Rocky road and reese cup cake pops? YES PLEASE!
This week was my sweetheart and my brother in law's birthdays. I love them both a lot! I decided to make something a little different for their special days. I stole the rocky road idea from starbucks, and chose reese cup for Brian, he loves peanut butter and chocolate. They turned out to be some of my best pops! They were super cool too.

This weekend I ran my first cake pop booth! I had the most fun, but more importantly supported a wonderful cause!
This weekend was The Tyler Poole Memorial Concert. Tyler died in a car accident in 2004. His parents have a scholarship fund in his name and half the money went to that, and the other half went to help a dear friend with medical bills after winning a battle against cancer. I was more than excited about this event. The weather was terrible, but the cake pops stand prevailed! My awesome cousin helped me all day!! We ended up selling every pop I made. It was an overwhelming success. I can't wait for my next event!
This was the cake pop booth. We had extra pops in the cooler under the table. Thanks to my wonderful husband for making all the signs! I made my three most popular flavors.
This is me and my cousin Jessica. She helps me so much with my business. I appreciate your help! She gets free gluten free birthday pops every year!

These are a few cake pop bouquets I made. They are terracotta pots full of chocolate and strawberry cake pops. When they auctioned them off I watched a man stomp his feet when he didn't win! Made my day. :) I ended up giving him two pops on the house!
